Ok, I would like to offer a “Slot 0” for the GM’s for
specifically First Steps, but potentially any of the scenarios being offered at
Con of the North.
The Schedules for PFS play leading up to Con of the North
looks as follows:
Sunday, December 18th – FFG & The Source
Sunday, December 25th – Assuming Jon will not be
running at The Source as it is Christmas Day.
Sunday, January 1st – FFG & The Source
Sunday, January 8th – The Source
Saturday, January 14th – Village Games
Sunday, January 15th – FFG & The Source
Sunday, January 22nd – The Source
Sunday, January 29th - The Source
Sunday, February 5th – FFG & The Source
Sunday, February 11th – Village Games
Sunday, February 12th – The Source
Friday through Sunday, February 17th, 18th,
& 19th – Con of the North
I would prefer to run First Steps over 3 days, instead of
all on 1 day, but I could be convinced otherwise should that be all everyone
can commit to.
The following are days I can do Slot 0’s:
Saturday, December 17th
Friday, December 23rd, all day
Monday December 26th, all day
Friday, December 30th, all day
Saturday, January 7th
Saturday, January 21st
Saturday, January 28th
Saturday, February 4th
I could be convinced to do a weeknight, as long as it is one
of the 1st Steps, as those run relatively short (2-1/2 to 3-1/2
Please email me directly at [address removed] if you
are interested in a GM Slot 0 for Con of the North, and when you would be
available to attend. This Slot 0 would
only be open to GM’s for Con of the North.

Subject: [msp-pathfinders] Con of the North GM Assistance Needed!
Good Morning Everybody!
First off, I want to thank each and every one of you for turning the local chapter of Pathfinder Society into a HUGE success. At my current estimates we seat roughly 22 tables of gamers a month now at three different stores and have over 80 (yes eighty!) registered Pathfinders on the Meetup site. It is with this exciting news that we turn our eyes to February and Con of the North where the local chapter of Pathfinder Society will make its first major showing at a Minneapolis/St. Paul convention.
At Con of the North we have four tables per slot, with five tables in the Saturday afternoon 14-20 slot for Blood Under Absalom, the Pathfinder Society Special Event. That equates to a total of 29 tables for the event. Anybody who has
registered, we are focusing on low-tier modules for new players with multiple sessions of First Steps, a little We Be Goblins, and some "Society Classics" thrown in where the players get to chose what they play. I anticipate new players and old players alike, so we have a good chance to grow. I am also working out the possibility of running a "Delve" station for players interested in Pathfinder to get a chance to play through a 20 minute module. More on that to come.
The Important Bit
We DO have enough GMs for the weekend, with a caveat. Aaron Koelman, Jon Lamkin, Andrew Christian and I have all agreed to spearhed the GM initiative and have slated ourselves for seven slots each. By doing so, please realize that we are talking about GMing for roughly 18 hour a day with no dinner breaks and minimal time to sleep. We are looking for ANYBODY who is willing to run ANY NUMBER of sessions to help alleviate GM fatigue. Chris Mortika (famed GM from Gen Con) and Sean Hanlin (Venture Captain from Wisconsin) have already agreed to come and lend us a hand, but any other GMs who offer up a hand will not be turned away. If you can help out, please send me an e-mail
with the following:

I do need to know an actual slot that you are available so that I can work out our schedules accordingly.
Thank you again for making local PFS what it is. I look forward to seeing you on Game Days and at Con of the North.
