Bonus Open Hack Night--Icy Flashing Vortex

Last Thursday's Vortex night was "disappoint". Only one other person could participate in the event. He and I both decided to instead use the time to build infrastructure in less exciting but more important ways. So we went off to find sponsorships and got a couple meeting appointments with Hastings and the ReStore. Since we still have the supplies... We thought to try out an Open Hack Night on a Tuesday. We will have TWO Open Hack Nights on the week of the 7th(next week). I will make certain to call people or email them two days and two hours before the event to verify attendance. I'll also be posting this change on Facebook and Google plus. Tuesdays might be better and we might need to more-permanently adjust our week to use Tuesday's instead of Thursdays. Creating a PULSATING VORTEX OF ICEY FLASHING DEATHHHH! Mostly it will just look cool in a corner during our open hack nights and nerd parties ^_^ As always If you have your own project, go ahead and bring it and work on it during the Open Hack night! ^_^

One didn't show up, but we screwed around with dry ice, soda, soap, bubble blowing solution, glass + glass cutters, power drills, soldering and eventually created a tornado in a box. Two Mirrors reflect the image of the tornado four times. Wood just needs spray paint and woodglue.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
