Lets do a loop (or two) up in Nose Hill, throw in some hill climbing and some downhills and we should have enough for a 15 to 20 km ride.
This may be a bit muddy.... hopefully the trails will dry out before Thursday.
Bring a helmet, gloves, enough water, a snack and a jacket, maybe a light...
Located in northwest Calgary, Nose Hill Park covers 11.27 square kilometers and is surrounded by 12 residential communities. The mountain bike trails range from beginner to intermediate. This is a great area for those learning to mountain bike wanting to get a taste of some real smooth and rolling singletrack without much technical to throw you off your game. Nose Hill is a great early season ride as the trails do get overgrown during the summer months. Please stay on established trails.
There are a number of singletrack trails that zigzag and cross the main gravel/paved paths to explore. One can easily spend a few hours trying to link them all.
