How did u guys do? 7 hours for me, but I opted for burpees at the 2nd & 3rd water obstacles. Did the 1st 2 rope climbs though & everything else. It was brutal. I was afraid of hypothermia bcuz I was shivering so bad after dunking in water after the traverse wall.

Sadly no. Tried to get tickets but it was sold out. We're gonna find a restaurant and then hang out at the Inn I guess. Staying at the Grey Bonnet right near the mountain. Anybody that wants to come and trade race tips is welcome.

We're going to the BF, but according to the list of "festivities" for those who cant make it, they say there will be a gathering at Outback Pizza in Killington at 8 , for racers and founders. Since we're racing at 8:45( volunteer wave for those of us volunteering at the Ultra, they offered a 2014 Season Pass for the gig, sweet deal) , eating earlier is far better for me anyhow...

Last year a staffer told me the average time was 7 hours 15 minutes. I heard people saying it was 13 to 16 miles. Don't know who was right since I wasn't wearing a GPS. I've heard this year will be 12-13. Guess we'll see...

Hey guys, sorry for the late response. My wife and kids now want to come watch me race and join the fun so I'm full. Sorry about that. Good luck this weekend.

Did build today @ Vernon. Actually our assignment was painting the obstacles for Citizens Bank Park Stadium Race. After doing Va Super last week, I'll tell you the hills at Vernon don't look so bad, actually did it last year.... and if you dont have a hydration pack, id recommend getting one

8-9, had group lunch with crew and i asked wondering if it would be same as last yr , which was 11+... dont know what kind of runner/athlete you are or are not, the bit of advice that i give everyone when it comes spartan, ive done 7 so far, go to your gym , set the tmill for 15.0 incline and go for an hr, or the step mill, same thing,, you may not like the gym, but at least the demands, degree of incline, is reproducible.... also in 1 week youre not going to make a world of change but at least youre going to get an idea....

don't worry about times when it comes to general waves, they are not enforced. You could run the course twice if you wanted.

I have a group out of the gate at 10AM.

I'm running on my own, but I could race with a couple of other people too.
