Old Town Run

We meet every Saturday for a long Run.  We generally try to run for around about an hour and a half, but it varies depending on who shows up and what we are training for.  After the run, the Old Town Farmers Market is open and worth a visit for fresh produce or a after run breakfast Giro!

This is a great run for new runners to join in and make new friends that you can rely on to share your running goals and achievements, and share in the benefits and fun of group running.  Please RSVP so we know your are coming and post any questions in the comments section so that all of the attendees have a chance to reply.

    Hello, I just found this group. I would love to get into a routine. Since I'm a beginner, should I try this weekend or is this for the advanced runners?

      I'm pretty new but usually most run 6 or more miles. I'm hoping to run 10-12 this weekend. Last old town run there were a few runners who I think ran 2 miles. It seems to just depend on who goes. But the regulars can point you on the right route for you. Maybe start with the group then turn back early..? Hopefully others will respond as well. :)

      This is for any level of runners, give us a try we will indeed point you in the right direction. also look at the different routes it is pretty much just an out & back. so you can go what ever distance meets your needs. We do have runners at all speeds. Hope to see you in the morning.
