For this meetup, we are going to check out "The Great Journey of humankind," an exhibition currently held at the National Museum of Nature and Science.
"The Great Journey of humankind" is organized to examine the Great Human Migration, which started in Africa between 60,000 and 80,000 years ago. To illustrate the diversity of human experiences resulted from the migration, the exhibition presents lifestyles of people in various severe environments, such as a tropical rainforest, highlands, the extreme north or an arid regions.
This is obviously not an art exhibition, but through it, I am hoping to learn about culture from remote regions of the world and the environments in which the unique social characteristics were formed. Hopefully, some of you are interested in checking out the show with me.
