About the exhibition.

"Akira Yamaguchi (1969- ) lived in Kiryu, Gunma prefecture from age 3 until he graduated from high school. He is an outstanding contemporary artist who creates a world of free interplay and fusion between time and space, nature and artifice, with superb technique. The exhibition gives a broad view of Yamaguchi’s art, major works of painting and sculpture as well as recent and previously unexhibited work characterized by humor and a critical point of view. "  from museum web site.

Before going to the museum,  we will stop at Udon restaurant for lunch.

Gunma is one of the famous place for local Udon in Japan and cat fish tempra as well.
