Come along on Saturday 23rd February for a tour round the Theatre Royal Haymarket!
About the theatre
The Theatre Royal Haymarket, known originally as ‘The Little Theatre in the Hay’, is a Grade I listed building situated in the heart of the West End. Designed and constructed by John Potter in 1720 it is one of Britain’s most treasured theatres. The theatre seats 893 patrons and is the third oldest London Playhouse still in use.
Both Henry Fielding (Tom Thumb, The Historical Register) and Henry Carey staged their plays here.
The Theatre Royal Haymarket Company was set up in 2007 and has since produced some of the theatre’s most successful productions including Waiting for Godot and Flare Path.
We will be having a private 1h 30min tour. Cost is £10 per person.
We are limited to the numbers we can bring and can only do one tour per day, but we are repeating the event on Sat 9th and Sat 23rd March.
If you can't see us outside the station, please call.
Hope to see you there!

So many true theatre greats had trod the boards & I had goosebumps from just knowing I was in such close proximity to the likes of Vivien Leigh, Ian McKeller, Patrick Stewart, Tony Randall & Jack Klugman, Joyce Grenfell, Peggy Ashcroft & even Edmund Keen! Hearing John Barryman & Oscar Wilde's voices was amazing & every aspect was a thrill to this history and theatre buff! Thank you to Robert for organising a wonderful event & to Nina & Walter for their entertaining & informative hospitality!

Really interesting and informative guide. Beautiful and quirky building with many of original Nash features and a ghost! Now really look forward to going to see a performance there.
