Canal Boat Trip (July)

Come along on Saturday 21st July for a repeat of the canal trip from Camden to Paddington and back!

About the trip
 London's canal's and the architecture of the buildings that back onto them are a part of London many Londoner's don't get to see, the Regent's Canal which we will be travelling on was built in 1816 as part of a regeneration of the area.

We will be starting at Camden Lock, travelling through Regents Park, past London Zoo, through St John's Wood and onto Paddington Basin.  We will then return back.

The trip lasts about 1h 30mins and we will be travelling on the 'Jenny Wren' (picture below) at a relaxing 3-4 miles an hour.  We also have a guided commentary on the boat.

The event is now sold out!

There won't be any food or drink available on the boat, so feel free to bring your own if you wish.

We should be back at Camden at about 6pm.  Afterwards we will head to a local pub for a drink.

If you can't see us outside the station, please call.

    I really enjoyed this canal trip..the fact that the weather was fabulous did add to its attraction. Some of the houses we passed were out of this world...oh to be rich ! Pity about the poor girl who passed out..but ambulance arrived very quickly. One of my best outings with cultureseekers.

    It was a lovely trip plus friendly and well-organised as ever with Robert's events. Also when someone fainted on the boat, I thought it was very well dealt with. An ambulance was called and the lady was escorted off the boat.

    This was a great day, especially with the weather. I did struggle to hear the tour information at times, but thought it was interesting at points. Great to view London from a different angle too. Very pleased I went along.
