Come along on Saturday 24th November at 1:45pm for a visit to the Museum of London!
When you arrive, we will split into small groups of 4 or 5 people to explore the museum together.
About the Museum
The Museum of London opened in 1976 and tells the story of London from prehistoric times to the present day.
The museum comprises a series of chronological galleries containing original artefacts, models, pictures and diagrams, with a strong emphasis on archaeological discoveries, the built city, urban development and London's social and cultural life.
The museums galleries are:
London before London (450,000 BC - AD 50)
Roman London (AD 50-410)
Medieval London (AD 410 - 1558)
War, Plague & Fire (1550's - 1660's)
Expanding City (1670's - 1850's)
People's City (1850's - 1940's)
World City (1950's - today)
The museum is free!

Afterwards we will head to the Lord Raglan pub, 61 Saint Martin's-le-Grand for a chat over a drink.
If you can't see us outside the station, please call or text.
Look out for the group sign -

Hope to see you there!

I'm really sorry that I can't attend the Museum of London event today as I have to attend to an urgent family matter.

With over 100 people attending the Museum of London this Saturday I wonder how it will be orgainsed. Will everyone be in one long crocadile? Or will they be split into groups and set off at staggered times?
