Life-long Londoner (well, a bit of Essex and Kent too), and a regular visitor to museums and exhibitions. I spotted a flyer for the Cultureseekers Group today and joined within hours!
The Victoria & Albert Museum is a favourite of mine. I also like quirky places, such as the late Dennis Sever's house/museum in Folgate Street, Spitalfields.
A flyer at Wanstead library.

I see you are interested in cultural events in London and would like to invite you to join our group, Arts Link London. http://www.meetup.com/ArtsLinkmeetup-...![]()
and if you have time available during the day our sister group Carpe Diem enjoys visiting places of interest at quieter times when most are at work! http://www.meetup.com/Carpe-Diem-Dayt...![]()
Look forward to meeting you Best regards, Julia
Hi Alan,
If you still want to come to the 'Egyptian Book of the Dead Exhibition' at the British Museum on the 27th Nov and you want me to get you a ticket, I need payment quite urgently (it's £7) in order make the timed entry slot.
If you have Paypal, you can send it to: [masked].
Regards

Highgate Cemetery would be great, but unless the Friends Of HC have a change of heart it will never happen. Tom and I have both tried. The tours are run as a money making exercise, to fund the maintenance of the place and to keep out the unwanted. They dont particularly like people with big cameras! Well worth the money for a visit - just dont hand around taking photos (and leave your tripod at home!). Maybe one for an small unofficial meetup.
