by the way pham where you are staying Hotel Mio Cid is between albefueria and san juan you have a tram service just down the road that goes to alicante centre or bus 21 or 22 or 9. in addition the ancient roman site of lucentum is in albuferia and the are two great walks on your door step - 1 st one from the beach in front of your to san juan going through a parc natural along the coast and the second you'd love over the sierra groste mountain which separates you from alicante.

I will drive if a couple of people want to share petrol...can you get to Twickenham or Hounslow? I will cut across via Kingston A3 I think so can pick up enroute.
