Hello, I'm a local elementary teacher looking to network and explore my great city.
There are too many to name!
I'm really enjoying the events and the networking opportunities.
Welcome to the Philosophy Meetup!
I got your message below. I think before I volunteer to speak to the group, I should probably spend some time with the group and get a sense of what may or may not contribute to the dialogue/group dynamic. I'll take a look at the Group Calendar but is there anything interesting in the near future that involves some real face time?
Hi Joel, do you have any ideas for a talk you would like to give to the group? We are always looking for good speakers...let me know!
Hey. Im a big deal too. Without me none of this would be happening...for me.. so I guess I am only a big deal to myself really. Anyway . Hi. Im an atheist looking to make new friends who are other atheists.
Hi Kim am Russ hope to meet you soon
Kimberly, I think I'd love to meet you! If you don't mind the God/Jesus commitment - it would be AWESOME to be together! Rebecca
Kimberly, this is a group specifically including spirituality. It is for everyone and respects anyone's spirituality but if you aren't a spiritual person - ie. God and connecting to a higher power doesn't work for you, this isn't a group for you. What do you think?
Welcome to SHAG Kimberly. We have a wide variety of events and adventures on our calendar. Hope you find some fun and exciting times ahead!
Welcome to the group Kim.
Very nice intro Kimberly. Looking forward to meeting up with some like-minded individuals. Seems you have something a little more progressive in mind that just meeting and slamming 'believers" (which can be fun, but unproductive) I sought out this type of forum for myself as I am new-ish to Saint Louis. Will be nice to see the dynamic.
So good to hear from you. Let me know where to go and whats happening. Mary Jo
