Our tastings at Gourmet Oil and Vinegar have been a huge success and since we have a whole lot of new members and haven't been there for a long time, I thought it was time we went back. We have learned a lot and enjoyed some very tasty foods prepared by the chef. They offer some yummy gluten free options that everyone raved about. We have been majorly impressed with the balsamics and have found new and exciting ways to use them, some of them very surprising. Come and start tasting and if you need to leave early, no problem. If you were at one of the other tastings and want to come again , please feel free to join us.
The cost for this tasting is $3.00. This is NOT a prepay event.
You are invited to a fun filled evening of tasting, eating and learning about Extra Virgin Olive Oils and Balsamic Vinegars. Taste over 60 different varieties. Pick up recipes to use at home.
Receive 10% off any purchases you make that evening.
There will be 3 different food options made by the in-store chef for you to sample. Everything we've had has been really tasty. They always have plenty, so you can keep tasting until the food runs out, and that has never happened. The owner and chef will be present to answer any questions you might have.
I believe cooking is both an art and a science, it takes experimentation to develop and create flavors that are pleasing and it certainly takes creativity to keep coming up with new ways expand our horizons. There is always something new to learn.
Did you know that some vinegars are sweet and used in deserts. There are also many heath benefits to oils and vinegars. You do not need to be a cook to join us. Just come for the experience, and inspiration. I have been asked to limit our group to 25. As always, I ask that you sign up only if you really plan to attend and update your RSVP in plenty of time if your plans change, so someone on the waitlist can attend.
If we're still hungry after our tasting, we can move to one of the many restaurants nearby.
Grand Way is right off of Excelsior Blvd, in the new shopping district. Parking is available on the street and in the free ramp street around the corner from McCoy's restaurant. I believe you can also enter the ramp from Excelsior Blvd. Turn onto Grand Way, right by the CVS Drug Store. Gourmet Oil and Vinegar is a few doors down from Starbucks.
