Meet with local film lovers to watch foreign, classic, and arthouse films at the many museums, cultural institutions and embassies in the DC area. For the most part we will attend free museum film screenings, but occasionally we will also venture to area arthouse film meccas like the Goethe Institute, AFI Silver Theater and Landmark Theaters to catch the latest independent/foreign film offerings and attend film series/festivals.
Please be sure to the read the group's attendance policy on the message board or "About Us" section. Also, note that the Washington Museum Movies meetup is a group for ACTIVE members fully engaged and interested in attending movie outings. Inactive members who have not logged into the site for 5 months or more are automatically removed to ensure the integrity of the group.
Donations: Members are invited to donate $1 per meetup they attend to help cover the quarterly Meetup.com fees. You can make this 'suggested donation' online via Paypal or in person to your organizer. Your contribution is much appreciated!
