Acoustic OPEN MIC every Wednesday at The HeadHouse (122 Lombard St)

Musicians, Singers, Songwriters - we've started a new Acoustic Open Mic every Wednesday at The HeadHouse at 122 Lombard Street, Philly.  On Wednesday July 24th our Musician Host will be RUSTY CROWELL of "Rusty & Jan".

This OPEN MIC is for acoustic singers & musicians to perform and/or jam with other acoustic musicians & singer-songwriters.  Hand drums & cajons are welcome.  Join us and perform your original songs or covers.

date: Every Wednesday Night

time: Artist sign-up starts at 8:30, music begins at 9pm

location: The HeadHouse
address: 122 Lombard Street, Philadelphia

cost: FREE to attend, FREE to perform

Sign-up to perform starts at 8:30pm in the main First Floor Bar on the left as you enter The HeadHouse.  The music will begin at 9pm.

We are looking to support the Artist community of the Philly area by hosting this event.  Philly has always had tremendous musicians but has not always had the strong music scene one would expect from so much talent.  We look at this Wednesday Open Mic series are part of building a stronger music scene.  We hope this Open Mic will become a supportive community or Singers, Musicians, people in The Biz, and friends & fans or live music.

The HeadHouse will be expending their Happy Hour specials every Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm if you & your friends want to come early and settle in before the Open Mic.  Also they will offer some food & drink specials during the Open Mic which we appreciate, and I hope to post the details of those soon.

If you have any questions please post them as "Comments" below and I will try to answer them as quickly as possible.

Is there a piano in the space, or is this BYOkeys?

good quesiton! currently its BYOkeys, but we may have some musician hosts who will bring a keyboard, and if that's the case then I'll post about it. Btw, its a very easy load in through the front the door, so several people have showed up with keys and its been pretty simple to set-up.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
