I think beginning with legalization of medicinal cannabis has the greatest chance of eventually leading to the decriminalization and perhaps even legalization of cannabis.
Well, those types of mentalities, i.e., "those who may shun, despise and ridicule" those of us with opinions different than their own are, for attempts at persuasion, simply a waste of time and energy. Fortunately, in Ohio and across the nation, the majority of voters favor the legalization of medicinal cannabis...therefore I suggest that organizing and focusing that somewhat silent majority needs to be the driving force at this time.
Yes, but it may take another 10 years or so for a certain voting demographic to "pass on" before that happens. Frankly, back in 1970 when I first seriously contemplated that question, I did NOT think it would take this long...but then came "Ron and Nancy"...no doubt well-intended but terribly misinformed on the nature of the "drug problems" in our nation. But as my good friend George used to say.... " All things must pass". ;)
