Skylight (with Carey Mulligan and Bill Nighy)

What a cast !!!! This is a must see. At the moment you can get tickets for £17.25, so get in there while you can.

"On a bitterly cold London evening, schoolteacher Kyra Hollis receives an unexpected visit from her former lover, Tom Sergeant, a successful and charismatic restaurateur whose wife has recently died. As the evening progresses, the two attempt to rekindle their once passionate relationship only to find themselves locked in a dangerous battle of opposing ideologies and mutual desires."

Enjoyable play, but I did find Nighy's two/three fingered waving slightly irritating. Does he always do this????

simple answer: "Bill’s hands : Bill Nighy suffers from Dupuytren’s Contracture, a
hereditary condition that has left the two last fingers on both hands permanently bent back against the palms"

Ah...that explains a lot. Thanks. I know nothing about Bill Nighy ( which in this day and age I find quite refreshing)

Simply fab, that's what theatre is all about, great actors, great storyline, you were engrossed in it from start to finish. Billy Nighy uses charisma, Carey Mulligan has got the most wonderful deep voice ever, loved her understated play as well and her passionate speech "defending" her choice of life was the highlight of the play for me. Loved the actor who played the son as well.

Brilliant - emotional and intriguing storyline. All three actorsnplayed their parts more than convincingly and great connection between them.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
