Free Music & Picnic - "Bachaco" - Latin Roots Rock @ Levitt Pavillion Pasadena

MEN AND CHILDREN WELCOME AT THIS EVENT.

Levitt Pavillion in Pasadena and Levitt Pavillion in MacArthur Park each host 50 free concerts every summer - let's catch a few of them, and include a picnic before the show.  We'll keep it casual - I'll bring plenty of plates, napkins, and utensils, everyone can bring their own drinks and a dish to share (or just your own dinner if you prefer).  Although they don't officially allow alcohol, wine or cocktails in a discrete container is likely to be unnoticed.  They also sell food @ each venue, and each year it seems they have a more extensive choice of food.  So you can just get your own dinner if you wish, or bring food to share, it's a weeknight so don't go to any trouble.

This night we will be hearing "Bachaco" - check them out on YouTube. A featured Artist of the Month on MTVTr3s, this Afro-Caribbean Roots Rock band offers the perfect mix of reggae, ska, rock, hip-hop & Cumbia. Good vibes all around!

I will stake out some space with blankets, will probably arrive around 6:30.  Although this is casual, and I know things come up at the last minute, just PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be courteous and call if you find you can't make it that night.  It is very aggravating and distracting to wait for people who don't show and don't bother to call, and it seems to happen with this type of free event, so, just asking that you be considerate and let me know if you change your mind so I'm not looking for you, holding space for you, and concerned that something happened to you - THANKS!

If you don't see me and my pink & black plaid blankets when you get there - call me -[masked]-0717.

You may find free parking a couple of blocks away.  BUT WATCH THE SIGNS!  There is parking in the garage on Raymond right across from the park for $5.  For mapping/GPS purposes, the park address is 170 N. Raymond; parking garage is across the street at 171.

IMPORTANT:  You can only bring low chairs, no full height folding chairs, you will be asked to move to the side.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
