It's that time of year again - Farmers Market Fall Festival. Let's get together to roam around the fair, grab some afternoon lunch, shop the Grove one block over, then, walk through Farmers Market to pick out some fresh produce to take home. All are welcome.
We'll meet at 10:15 AM and hang out until whenever. If you arrive late, just call one of the numbers listed above. Free Parking, Free Event!
Description: LA's favorite county fair in the city since 1934, this urban legend features live music, (cool banjo and fiddle ensembles,) and vocal entertainment, regional crafts people and more!
The Fall Festival @ the Farmer's Market delivers hand-made accessories booths, adult brewskis at the renowned watering hole, 326, and an ultra cool martini bar. There's a wine-tasting event, as well. We'll cheer on the biergarden-clad participants as we ring in the burnished glow of autumn, and the crisp snap of Granny Smith apples. This event has way more panache than a county fair. Not a deep-fried Snickers in sight. Offers all the finest in city high gloss, with the down-hominess of a neighborhood barn-raiser.
We'll sample the best of fresh produce, diverse cuisines, and individually designed pieces: from hand-tooled leather wallets, to costume jewellry to great hats. There is no better way to celebrate the changing tones of the leaves, than to celebrate the Fall Harvest together, (no admission charges.) We might lunch on Thai pad thai, or choose new wave latino fare @ Loteria, browse the silk-screened, one of a kind scarves, or simply soak in the charming, village-like atmosphere. The activities are already here. Let's do this together!
