On the Saturday before Christmas, a group sponsored by the Sierra Club goes to Skid Row at Midnight (when the Mission closes, so they know that those on the street are truly the most unfortunate, they have no home, no bed for the night), and plays "Santa," distributing clothing, blankets, socks and gloves, food, toiletries, and toys. They finish up with a short "urban hike" around downtown, ending at the Pantry about 5 in the morning.
This year I will not be able to do the hike but I will still be assembling my usual hygiene kits, and you're invited to help me assemble the kits.

Since we're meeting at lunch time, let's make this a casual appetizer potluck as well. I will have plenty of sodas, water, coffee and a few appetizers or finger foods. Please bring something to share, homemade or purchased, we can keep it simple, no need to go to any trouble.
AND..............HOPEFULLY...........some people will hang around and play some board/card/word games????
