Introduction
I've been using MySQL for several years now for various web content management and data warehousing applications. I'm the author of a module for AOLserver called "nsmysql" which lets you use MySQL from AOLserver through its DB API.
What databases have you developed with? Which one is your favorite?
MySQL, Oracle, Sybase, Informix, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Ingres -- I've been around the block. For free, MySQL is my favorite. For pay, Oracle is my favorite.
What interests you about open source software?
The prospect of being able to work with lots of different people on a wide range of interesting (and not so interesting) problems.
What would you like to see at the meetups?
More people! Come on, there's got to be more of us in Northern NJ! Lets get together, folks!
