The May meeting of the Boston MySQL User Group will feature Giuseppe Maxia and Kaj Arno, 40% of the community team from MySQL/Sun(/Oracle). Giuseppe will speak about the features, performance, and roadmap of 5.4, the newest version of MySQL.

Abstract:
"MySQL 5.4, the surprise announcement at the MySQL Conference 2009, is a
special edition with one specific purpose: performance.
This session will show how MySQL 5.4 compares to the previous versions,
with some benchmarks and use cases."
