Tell us something about your name (first, middle, last, nick, handle, etc).

My first name is shortened from Jitendra, down to just one letter.

How did you get interested in: computers, databases, mysql? (pick one or all of the topics)

In the corporate world we used Oracle, but in the startup world we favor open source solutions -- MongoDB, Postgres, MySQL, ... So now I consider myself an open source database dude.

My company offers SaaS Analytics products and services for understanding customer behavior and managing churn. I do as much work with MySQL as I do with NoSQL, including teaching databases at WPI. Organizer of Boston Cloud Services Meetup Group.

What J S. is saying about this Meetup Group
