Who Should Attend:
Developers, DevOps, and Database Administrators

The database should be the app team’s best friend. But when it’s not scaling, it’s their worst enemy. It’s even more difficult in the cloud – where sharding and scale-up are simply non-starters.

What’s needed is a database that scales out to match the cloud’s basic architecture, yet still looks and acts like a full-featured RDBMS. Clustrix is exactly that. All the power of an RDBMS, but with linear scale and available on public (AWS), hosted (Rackspace, GoGrid, etc.), and private clouds

In this event, hear how the premier online job-matching service, TheLadders, chose to scale out their primary database, letting their app team focus on features and speed. Topics covered will include how to:

  • Leverage a scale-out SQL database on public and private clouds
  • Achieve fault tolerance, high availability, and reliability
  • Run OLTP and OLAP workloads on the same database
  • Develop, test, and deploy apps in AWS
  • Gain exceptional application performance and scale

Appetizers and drinks will be served.

Agenda:
3:45pm – 4:15 – Check in and welcome
4:15 – 5:00 – TheLadders case study, technology overview and Q&A
5:00 – 6:00 – Network with speakers and colleagues

As this is a limited seating, exclusive event, it is recommended that you RSVP early.
Once we receive your RSVP, we’ll follow up by phone to confirm your registration.
