Twin City Opera House- McConnellsville, OH- Public Investigation

Twin City Opera House in McConnelsville Oh is a great historical location with lots of captured paranormal activity.

“Everett Miller was the usher there for 30 years who still watches over the opera house and has been contacted and seen numerous times during investigations. Quite possibly you could run into 10 year old Elizabeth peeking from the catwalk or hear her giggling. Then there is Red Wine Robert who enjoys interacting with paranormal investigators by answering questions through EMF devices and he has also been heard on EVP’s stating “I’ve got red wine”.

Perhaps the spirit of John Leezer who was fatally stabbed in the ballroom in the early 1900’s will make an appearance. For those looking for a darker encounter, the dark shadow mass that lurk deep in the basement near the blocked off tunnels that once ran under town. The black masses have been observed by dozens of people and will occasionally growl or drastically drop the temperature for those who get to near. One black mass was captured on 2 different DVR Cameras on June 6, 2009. Over 300 EVP’s have been captured from the Opera House. Every part of this historic building is paranormally active and has been titled one of the most haunted buildings in Ohio.”

Just meeting at the opera house. First time we have been there and there will be other people outside of our group there as well, I am not sure of the layout of the place. I am sure the folks running it will herd us all together there somewhere. Just look for either me or Brenda. See u there!

Stanley, if you got a cellphone and a flashlight, you are good. Most cellphones have a voice recorder that can be used. A regular camera is fine or just use the one on your cellphone. Us investigation nuts bring more equipment and share but I have done some with just my cellphone or iPad and a flashlight in a pinch.

Do most people show up to these things with equipment? I'm interested in attending this event but I'm a but it will be my first time and haven't really looked into buying recording devices and such.

The Opera house had to postpone the seance portion for Sept 28th that was in the $40 special. The investigation for $30 is still available. For those of you like myself who already paid the Opera house the $40, you should get an email from them explaining this and wanting confirmation to refund the $10 for the seance portion or the whole $40 if you choose not to go to the investigation.

The $40 combo for the seance and investigation is no longer available. Only the $30 investigation is available so the seance portion has filled up. If you are interested in going to the investigation, you will see the $30 invest option on the Opera's website. Please register and pay the Opera directly through their website. Also make sure you read over their rules. Thank you.

They only had one or two Saturdays before the end of the year for the private investigations and we weren't available then so we decided to do the public one in order to check the place out and if we like it, we can book a private investigation for June or July.
