Customizing WordPress as a CMS - Developer Series Part 3
Part 3 of this series will cover common ways and techniques for customizing WordPress as a robust CMS.
Agenda Includes:
- Custom post types
- Custom fields
- Overview of many code enabled features in WordPress.
This meetup requires some experience with custom theme development, including HTML, CSS and PHP skills.

About the WP Developer Series Presenters:
Kelly Meath is a WordPress guru and Software Engineer at The Nerdery. He is also the author of the Developer Tools plugin for WordPress that helps streamline custom WordPress theme development.
Ryan McGrew is a Senior Developer at the Nerdery. He has 5+ years experience developing large scale web applications in PHP.
What to bring:
- A Laptop with WiFi and an IDE installed
