Priceless sites referenced included: online software training videos, social network plug-in, & video tutorials for WP. Fascinating & unpretentious people as always, too.

Please note this event is a public discussion and not a private event affiliated with Chicago Cultural Center (it is not on the calendar). We will meet in the Lounge area at open tables (the free, open space). There will not be any projector or large screen. Seating is first come. Bring cards to pass out or other information you want to share (flyers, post cards, etc).

Other Meetups may also be taking place. If you are lost when inside the building ask a staff or security person to direct you to the 1st Floor "Lounge" area near Randolph Cafe.

At 6:50 pm the Security will announce the closing of Chicago Cultural Center. Our discussion will end at that point and move outside the Randolph exit, or to my office at 9 W Washington Street, if necessary.

Contact Information: Call or Text Dante, Organizer,[masked] or call my office phone:[masked] (forwards to my cell phone) if you have any questions.

I am part of the “Chicago WordPress MeetUp Group“. During one of our meetings, we discussed 3 ways to improve your WP website security.

When done right after your WordPress installation, they help prevent your WordPress website/blog from being compromised by a would be hacker. I have created an article and a video on the discussion we had a couple of weeks ago about WordPress security... Check it out! let me know your thoughts... Here is the link to the article and video:

From where can I get help in learning WordPress? YouTube is a start, but a bit confusing. I understand it is the preferred web site software program. Others are: sitebuilderpro, squarespace, Tumultco, Theme Rabbit, Wix and ithemes. Suggestions, please. Thx.
