Comcast Cares Community Service Project at Furness High School

Asian Pacific Americans at Comcast is proud to lead a Comcast Cares Day project this year at Furness High School to help Comcast celebrate its 12th annual year of CCD. The school's principal, Daniel Peou, a first-generation Cambodian American, was once a student himself at Furness and is now working hard to build an "international school" that will propel his students into higher education and thriving careers. The school's population is currently about 50% Asian American. There will be numerous projects available to volunteer for.

This is a family friendly event. Additionally, there will be an Eagles player, cheerleaders, and specials at Xfinifty live after the event!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
