The Naples Christian Fellowship is a non-denominational, non-ecumenical group for born-again single and married christians that commit to having biblical community in a way that draws on the Bible alone with the realization that we are in Jesus Christ under His New Covenant now, and that according to Hebrews 7:12, it is preeminent in its authority over how we are to live our lives as a fellowship at the local level.  You will understand the main thrust of this fellowship by studying the following audios and article links below embedded in this page.  We will do fun meetups  to grow in fellowship like going to the beach, special events, christian concerts, kayaking, playing tennis, volleyball, dining out, charity outreach, or get out and play at the park or a simple bible study at a park, restaurant, or at a coffee shop, etc.

The purpose is to return to the teachings and practices prescribed by Jesus Christ and His apostles, to have the Lord's Supper as a full meal, to have bible studies, to teach the teachings of the apostles, and to be in prayer as seen in Acts 2:42.  This is not a mere description of how things were back in the days of the Bible, but rather a prescription of how they are to be in the church throughout space and time. We seek to do away with all the man-made "principles", man-made doctrines, and anti-biblical traditions that are often mistakenly attributed to God since they ultimately break the commandments of God as we see in Matthew 15:3,6: "He answered and said to them, 'Why do you also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition?... Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition."  You can listen and read this in the following link: Making God into your final authority.  We do not believe that we earn a right relationship with God by our "good works", or compliance with the Old Covenant Law.  Such pursuit is futile.   We humbly aknowledge that we are saved through grace by our faith in Jesus Christ alone, and that such faith in Him was an unmerited gift that God gave us as His first installment of His gift of grace on our lives. The only one that can confer and administer salvation to each person is God Himself.  It is in Him that the New Covenant with the Law of the Spirit is written in our hearts:  To love God, and to love your neighbor as yourself.

According to 1 Thessalonians 1:1-8 the biblical priority is to firstly have fellowship with God, secondly with each other, so that then we can genuinely reach out to the rest of the world.  According to this pattern let's give to the needy amongst our fellowship so we can then reach out to the needs of those in the world.  No Christian grows in right relationship with God and into maturity with God by doing the good works of the Law (Gal 3:10).  It simply occurs by being faithful to Christ and the One and only true Gospel that He brought us.  It occurs by knowing Him: being intimate with God.  It is about free-will giving in ways that don't always have to mean giving money because it is about giving 100% of ourselves and everything we have to God and giving to others what God has put in us.  Listen and read the bible studies on the page: Money!!! What's it to you?.   The benchmark in giving  is not a set percentage quota of income.  The benchmark in giving is to do so cheerfully and without coercion or compulsion.  Biblical giving is the way God raises His children and how the world will know that we are Christians-- by our love for Him and for each other.

I want for us as living stones to allow Christ to build us up into His house that He abides in since He downplays the importance of religious buildings by saying in the Bible that He does not live in man-made structures.   Let's endeavor to do all this in love toward God and each other in an uncompromising pursuit of God and His Word which is what Jesus Christ said to the Father would make us one with Him,  as writen in John 17:17-23:    17" Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.   20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one -  23 I in them and you in me - so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me."    I want for all of us to really search, study and internalize the truth in the Bible and for us to come into biblical unity by surrenduring to His truth, comming into unity with His truth and applying it... So help me God. I realize this will be a growing process for me so bear with me.  It will be a growing process for you too.  Let us never come into unity by disregarding the Gospel of Truth and compromising it.  If we seek unity  this way, then the whole point of having this fellowship will be lost since the point of this fellowship is Jesus Christ Himself.

By becoming a member you state that you uphold and affirm our statement of faith and you claim to be born again.  If you do not affirm our statement of faith, and are not born again you will not be considered for membership.  If you want to be born again by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and therefore uphold and affirm our statement of faith feel free to ask me and I will guide you to what the Bible says you have to do.

We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and infallible Word of God constituting our final authority in all matters whether of doctrine, church practice, family life or personal holiness.  You can likewise study what these matters are by clicking on the "Pages" tab which has a compilation of bible studies in the following areas of christian life:

  1. godly romance
  2. biblical Leadership in the church
  3. being a biblical church
  4. the true biblical significance of the Lord's Supper
  5. true salvation
