Workshop - Lightroom Basics - Focus on Landscapes

  • This location is shown only to members

In this workshop we will focus on the develop module in Lightroom. Join us and learn how to improve your editing workflow so you spend less time editing and more time taking pictures. We will edit multiple images from start to finish while discussing each change and the reasoning and benefit for it. Learn to bring out the lost details in your shot and make your subject pop.

We will cover the following

-Complete overview of the develop settings
-How to use the sliders to make basic changes
-which changes to make first, how to triage your edits
-how to make batch edits (more than image edited at once)
-using brushes, graduated filters, and presets for more detailed edits.
-new features in lightroom 5

Please bring 2 non-processed .jpg or RAW images on a USB that we will discuss then edit together as a group.

Everyone will receive 5 LR4 landscape GF and brush presets for attending.

- Rocking Texture (Brush)

- Grass Envy (Brush)

- Stunning Sunset (GF)

- Brighten and Pop (Brush)

- Bright Blue Skies (GF)

The group will be kept small so that everyone has the opportunity to have questions answered easily. For this workshop you will need a notebook, a pen, and 2 images on a USB. You do not need your computer or laptop.

Drinks and snacks will be provided.

This workshop will take place at my home. I will tether my computer to a 46" tv in my tv room. I will send my address to everyone who is attending a few days before the event. I am located in the Eastport section of Annapolis. Please also note that I have cats in case of allergies.

The cost for this workshop is $40 dollars. It is due upon RSVP. If you do not pay within 24 hours of your RSVP I will have to remove you from the list so that someone may take your spot. If you would like to pay in a different form than paypal please send me an email upon RSVP. There is no refund for this workshop unless I reschedule or cancel the event.

Jen, I am sorry but have to cancel. I have been sick for a few days and can't seem to get rid of this. I do not want to spread what ever it is.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
