    ¡Hola Javascripters!

"D3.js is a JavaScript library for manipulating documents based on data. D3 helps you bring data to life using HTML, SVG and CSS. D3’s emphasis on web standards gives you the full capabilities of modern browsers without tying yourself to a proprietary framework, combining powerful visualization components and a data-driven approach to DOM manipulation."
    -The D3 homepage at http://d3js.org/

This is an introductory talk to data visualization with D3.js, lasting 30 - 40 minutes. It will cover the basics of D3 to get over the initial brick wall of a learning curve to getting started with the library. It will also cover introductory concepts of visualization design and explore some of the tools D3 offers that are relatively easy to implement once the initial learning curve is bested.
