Lightning Talks for October meetup

From: Josh C.

I'd like to do Lightning Talks for the next Ruby on Rails meetup (Oct 3)
Lightning talks are short 5-minute talk/presentations . We can usually fit about 10-12 of them into a meeting.
__Everyone__ is encouraged to participate and present something.
Beginner topics are cool
Expert / Cutting-edge talks are cool
Anything in the bounds of software development is 'on topic'. Things about managing your career as a developer is on topic.
You can bring slides, or not. You can do live coding, or not. You can just talk without slides.
If you are never spoken in front of tech group before, you are encouraged to do so now.
Do you need a topic? Here you go: what are you doing at work right now? That's a topic.
Each presenter has exactly 5 minutes. Someone up front will keep time and cut you off at 5 minutes. Hopefully we'll give a 1-minute warning.
Can you commit it to talk?
Please email me with your topic. This helps me a handle how many talks are ready to go. I'll also be able to guarantee a presentation spot for you if you email me about your talk in advance.
PLEASE NOTE: 'reply' goes to the whole list (hundreds of people).  Did you mean to reply just to me?  Double check the To: field.
