Thanks for stepping up, Jon!
I'm interested in meeting other vegetarian/vegans in the area. I might also be able to provide a space to meet from time to time in my home if you want to do a potluck-type gathering. I eat vegetarian according to the ancient way of no pungents & no eggs, so restaurant eating is not easy --most every vegetarian dish has onion & garlic. Woodlands is a great vegetarian Indian restaurant on West End which has both pungent & non-pungent dishes, many without cheese/dairy for vegans. I haven't tried Ethiopian, but if I know in advance where we will meet I can make the necessary arrangements.
P.S. I'm also looking for a female vegetarian to share some space in the home I rent. Please spread the word-I live in the Hillsboro Village area and have a post on Craigslist currently.

In the interests of suffering animals, I have assumed the role of organizer of this group. I've never actually met you, but we are like-minded people and I think it's important not to let a group of Vegans disintegrate. I'm not an animal rights activist. I just want to contribute to the continuance of this conscientious confluence of consumers. I'm considering a meetup at an Ethiopian restaurant. Any input would be greatly appreciate (e.g. locations).
