The Cumberland River is our touchstone as we hike, cruise, and pig out in Ashland City! Join your hiking buds for a fun filled Sunday hiking the Bicentennial Trail, cruising the Cumberland River on the Blue Heron pontoon boat, then heading to The Riverview Restaurant and Marina for a tasty dinner!

3:00 p.m. – Meet at the Eagle Pass Trailhead and begin hiking the Bicentennial Trail, a converted railroad bed, on an easy, flat, mostly paved path. The trail follows the Cumberland River and features an original railroad trestle and identifying signage on the native trees.
4:40 p.m. – Drive to Riverbluff Park.
4:50 p.m. – Begin boarding the Blue Heron pontoon boat for the two hour river tour. Bottled water and chips are provided, and feel free to bring adult beverages in small coolers. Bring sun screen, camera, and binoculars.
7:00 p.m. – Drive to Riverview Restaurant for a waterside dinner on their spacious deck. Enjoy some of the best catfish and hush puppies in Middle Tennessee!
