Thanksgiving hike at Radnor Lake.

An early morning hike at Radnor to help work up an appetite for the big meal. We'll meet in the West parking lot, off of Granny White Pike.

Optional breakfast at Cracker Barrel, Sidco Drive (off Harding at I-65 south) before the hike at 7:30 a.m.

Meeting Place: Trailhead at Granny White Pike/Visitor Center entrance
Hike Distance: up to 5 miles
Estimated Hike Time: max 2 hours
Event Leader: Barry
Difficulty: Moderate

We'll start at the Granny White Pike entrance parking lot, and depending on what the group feels like, we can do a mixture of the trails. Kids are certainly welcome, but pets are not allowed on the trails.

Note that on good weather days Radnor parking can get crowded. Please observe all traffic flow and parking rules posted.

Some instructions:

1. DO NOT enter Radnor Lake from the Franklin Road side. You must enter from Granny White Pike/Otter Creek Road because the road is blocked to vehicle traffic through the park. On maps Otter Creek Road looks like a through street for cars but it is not.

2. There is only one parking lot on the Granny White end so it won't be hard to find us. We'll be the crowd of people standing around.

3. There is not a sign for Radnor Lake on Granny White Pike. Look on the map for where Otter Creek Road intersects Granny White Pike and turn there.

If breakfast is happening, I'm there. Any chance for blueberry pancakes!
