Explore the mature hardwood forests along the tranquil shoreline of Chickamauga Lake, just a short drive from Chattanooga. Migratory bird and various other wildlife viewing/photo opportunities could be likely on this hike.

Join Harrison Bay park rangers for the 1st Hike of the New Year! We will meet at 12:00 noon EASTERN at the 4.5 mile trail-head (near the marina). The hike will be an easy-moderate 4.5 mile walk through the mature hardwood forest along Chickamauga Lake.

Directions to trailhead: After entering the main park entrance, take the first left towards the marina. Continue around the loop, passing the marina. When you approach the top of the hill, trail head will be on the right in the back of the top parking lot.
