Mossy Ridge Trail at Percy Warner - moderate hike 4/23

HIKE STATS:
Time:  meet at 10:00 a.m. for a 10:15 departure
Place: Deep Well trailhead of Percy Warner Park
Distance: 4.5 total miles
Estimated Hike Time: 2 hours
Difficulty: Moderate
Hike Leader: Hassan
Notes: Dogs on a leash okay (Park regs require no more than 6-ft leash - you may be ticketed if you fail to use a leash!)

The Mossy Ridge Trail is the longest of the three loop footpaths in the Warner Parks. An ideal training hike, the path leaves the Deep Well trailhead and winds through rich hollows and dry ridges of the Harpeth Hills, making frequent but never sustained elevation changes. Scattered in the woods are big trees and a spring-fed waterfall. At 4.5 miles, the Mossy Ridge Trail qualifies as a full-fledged hike that will not disappoint.

Hey there, had great time on Mossy Ridge hike on 04/16 with group. Nice folks. Enjoyed meeting all. On 04/23 I will be in Jury Duty so can't make hike that day. (Now, that I've had a rest I will venture another hike on Mossy Ridge when I'm free.) Have a great time! Kathleen

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
