Walk with Mayor Karl Dean at Beaman Park

Mayor Karl Dean is inviting all Nashvillians to join him in walking 100 miles during the summer of 2014. This citywide health challenge is designed to encourage people of all ages and fitness levels to get regular physical activity – walking is a free and easy way to do that!

To meet your 100-mile goal, you can walk on your own or walk with a group. Mayor Dean will hold “Walk with the Mayor” group walks every week, starting May 31. The Mayor’s group walks will be held at parks and greenways in Davidson County, which have over 190 miles of paved and unpaved trails. Visit the community calendar for details on the Mayor’s upcoming walks.
