Radnor Lake Hike 8/25

Come out for a hike at beautiful Radnor Lake.

Meeting Place: Bike rack at the Nature Center at the Granny White Pike entrance to the park
Hike Distance: We usually do both ridges, about 4.5 miles. You can also break off and do a shorter hike if you like.
Estimated Hike Time: up to 2 hours
Difficulty: Moderate Terrain / Brisk Pace (only a few short rest breaks)

1. DO NOT enter Radnor Lake from the Franklin Road side. Because the road is blocked to vehicle traffic through the park, you must enter from Granny White Pike/Otter Creek Road - on maps, Otter Creek Road looks like a through street for cars, but it is not.

2. There are no signs for Radnor Lake on Granny White Pike - look on the map for where Otter Creek Road intersects Granny White Pike and turn there.

3. Pets are not allowed on the trails, and observe traffic flow and parking rules.

4. You can reach me (Tim) at[masked] (cell).

** If 3 or less rsvps or if raining the hike is canceled. You can still hike if you like.

Awesome as always. I am trying to establish a record here of falling at every park at least once. Just kidding. I'm fine. I think my legs belong on another body though.

The Nashville Hiking meetup has weekend and day events. Check the calendar, and you will find many possibilities.

I will try my best to be there on time!! I have a commitment that MAY last until 5:30 and then it'll take me an additional 10-15 minutes to get to the park.
