Take a walk back in time at the Sellars Farm Archaeological site in Lebanon. This will be a rare opportunity to visit this historic area, which was once inhabited by the Mississippian Period Native Americans. The trail itself is less than two miles long, but there is plenty to see here -- including the ancient mounds/village, unique trees and wildflowers, and several rare dragonflies and damselflies. Spring Creek encircles most of Sellars Farm and is home to a wide variety of insects, snails, fish, amphibians, and other wildlife.

Keep in mind this will not be a fast-paced hike. There will be frequent stops for history/nature interpretation and discussion. Please remember to bring water, insect repellent and comfortable shoes.

No pets, please. Kids are welcome.
