Radnor Lake Hike 9/22

Come out for a hike at beautiful Radnor Lake.

Meeting Place: Bike rack at the Nature Center at the Granny White Pike entrance to the park
Hike Distance: We usually do both ridges, about 4.5 miles. You can also break off and do a shorter hike if you like.
Estimated Hike Time: up to 2 hours
Difficulty: Moderate Terrain / Brisk Pace (only a few short rest breaks)

1. DO NOT enter Radnor Lake from the Franklin Road side. Because the road is blocked to vehicle traffic through the park, you must enter from Granny White Pike/Otter Creek Road - on maps, Otter Creek Road looks like a through street for cars, but it is not.

2. There are no signs for Radnor Lake on Granny White Pike - look on the map for where Otter Creek Road intersects Granny White Pike and turn there.

3. Pets are not allowed on the trails, and observe traffic flow and parking rules.

4. You can reach me (Tim) at[masked] (cell).

** If 3 or less rsvps or if raining the hike is considered canceled. You can still hike if you like.

I'll try again next Monday but at the main entrance off Granny White Pike. See you next Monday.

I didn't see or meet up with anyone, I walked the trail alone.

Lucy, sorry you missed us. We had a good sized group at the Nature Center on the Granny White side of Radnor Lake.

would love to make this my first hiking trip but I am working. I look forward to when my schedule allows me to meet up with an easy to moderate hike (new at this) and meet y'all amazing outdoorsie types ~
