Thanks Mike for leading us on this wonderful hike. The weather was perfect. Had a great time meeting and talking with new friends. The pace was good for me.

The pace was a little fast. It seemed that some people got left behind & had trouble interacting with other participants. The hike was shorter than expected. It was listed at 6 miles but was only about 4.5. We were just getting warmed up when it ended. I did get to meet some interesting people though.

May be some scattered sprinkles tonight, but nothing major weather wise. Don't forget your flashlight/headlamp!

I'm new and have not found starting spots with last two meetups. Could you give me some more specific directions to the spot tonight please?

The entrance to Edwin Warner is on the south side of Hwy 100 about halfway between Old Hickory Blvd N (to Bellevue) and Old Hickory Blvd S (to Brentwood). Turn in at the entrance and go to the stop sign. Turn left and follow the road until you reach the Nature Center. We will be milling about in the parking lot near the Nature Center.

Forecast is for the rain to end between 4-5pm. Our 6:00 start looks good!

Are we meeting where the cross country meets take place?

    • Michael (Mike) H.

We meet in the Edwin Warner Nature Center parking lot, not the Percy Warner Cross Country lot. We usually are near the breezeway and rest rooms.

Yes, o.k., that makes sense. Thank you.

Hi Mike, Is this on the paved road or does it include some of the trails off the paved road?

    September 5

    • Michael (Mike) H.

We do about 2/3 on roads (paved) and 1/3 on trails (blue - Edwin Warner Woods Trail). I vary the exact path a little from week to week.
