Love putting on my boots and getting out in the woods - looking to meet new people who are in the same boat!

Hah! I used to live in that area myself, near Woodmont and I-440. Contact some feed mills. Ask where they get their grains. No promise that they'll be able to tell you, as sources change. Try Googling non-GMO grains. It's not impossible that the meet-up could organize a mini-co-op for feed. I've been giving my birds the Purina stuff, whole corn, Manna Pro, and all the bugs we can catch. Also leftover noodles, fruit peelings, that kind of thing for a treat.
Hi, April. It's good to see another face on the members' list. I hoe you'll attend our meeting in March and bring your questions. Otherwise, feel free to ask the member here on the board. Where's your group garden? How do you plan to deal with Metro, neighbors, predators, feed, water, fences? Any ideas regarding what breed(s) your group will raise? Meat, eggs, both. or pets?
April, welcome to the New In Town group! I look forward to meeting you at a future event.
Thanks! I may be a couple minutes late, coming from work, but really looking forward to it. See you tomorrow!
