So here is the dean eats deen (paula) recipe for fried mac and cheese (by the way 516,000 entries for different fried mac and cheese!) Having it tonight. cook 4 cups mac in water and drain add 2 c. grated cheddar then mix of 3 beaten eggs, 1/2 c. sour cream, 4 T. butter, 1/2 t. salt and 1 c. milk. bake 350 d. for 40 min. sit overnight in fridge, next day cut in squares or dip into balls and dredge in flour then beaten egg then bread crumbs and deep fry in oil over alcohol stove or pocket rocket
