I am very interested in taking up hiking. My body has to catch up with my mind! LOL! I went on my first hike yesterday and it was a lot more strenuous than I thought it would be. ( it was a beginner to moderate hike?!! )
It was the volunteer loop at Long Hunter.
Any suggestions?!!!!!

Semuc Champey is a natural monument in Guatemala, near the Q'eqchi' Maya town of Lanquín. It consists of a natural 300 m limestone bridge, under which passes the Cahabòn River. Atop the bridge is a series of stepped, turquoise pools, a popular swimming attraction. Although it can be difficult to get to, Semuc is becoming more and more popular with travelers.

I agree with Belinda, I have to work Saturday's too...and would love more Sunday hikes like you do on Saturday's!

Um, for selfish reasons, I'd like you to note how many people are CRAVING Sunday hikes! A lot of us can't do all those fabu Saturday hikes cuz we have to WORK! Have you ever noticed how Sunday hikes always fill up quickly? HINT HINT...maybe you could be so kind as to plan more Sunday hikes! You would be my new hero...!!!!

Hi Kelly. I enjoyed yesterday's hike. You do a great job with this group. Re tomorrow at Ellington. Turns out I am on call so I may get a call and have to leave. How far will we go from where we park? If I can't get back to my car in short order I may have to cancel. Of course I will keep the volume down on my phone while we are out Thx
