a self-professed fitness geek who actually does train other folks, i've taken to walking in the parks as a way of getting in some low impact exercise and quiet time away from work (in my gym) and home (kids are gone to college) and meet others.

lots of booze, lots of schmooze. good crowd of folks, and a chance to actually speak one on one with new friends.

Hey Irv, old grad school mate Donna Dean saying hi. Hope to see you on the trail! You are in great company. Prob most avid hikers have messed up knees and great hearts in more ways than one. Nothing compares to the exercise with the nature. I'm so psyched for you!
Hi Irv! Radnor is a great place to hike. If the inclines bother your knee, there are plenty of places to exit the trail without getting lost. Many of us who do the Sunday Radnor Hike are new to the group. This hike will be my 4th time with the group. Like you, I'm a local hiker who wants to branch out. See you Sunday!
Hi Irv. I am so excited about this group as well. I look forward to dining out with you.
