It is wonderful to see the differences in the landscape out here versus appalachia. wow! I can't wait to explore (with people mwho know the area better than I).

Good to know! I've also been told there are no poisonous snakes around here. I still don't know what the mosquito situation is, though.

Great hike and you are a great host. I'm just teasing about the control stuff. Thank-you for being so conscientious of the group as a whole.
