Generating Power with Yield

This month Jason Myers will join us again to give an introduction to the new PHP 5.5 `yield` keyword, which can be used to create iterables, generators, and asynchronous processes.

More About Jason Myers

Solving real human problems is his primary focus as a developer. As a diabetic, he understands the daily struggle of living with a chronic condition, and is working hard to develop a way to manage our condition that is usable regardless of the socio-economic factors of the person using it. Without a need for accounts and interacting with his fellow users in contexts that are available and understandable to them, Sucratrend is his life's work personified.

So, I had a conflict and it looks like no one else was able to broadcast the meeting... :(

I'm out of town but would love to catch the stream if possible. How do we connect remotely?

We'll setup a google stream again so you can partake from home. We liked Emma as well, but they recently made some changes to their policies that prevent us from being able to meet there. :(

I was really looking forward to this meetup, but I just can't get to iostudio. Since I don't have a car, Emma was a much better location for these meetups.

I'm gonna be on vacation as well. I hate I'm gonna miss this one. Will it be a part of Nomad PHP, perhaps?

Wish I could be there. I'll be on vacation and out of town that week. I'm stoked about PHP 5.5 especially the generators and finally block.... especially the finally block.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
