Silver Rescue (www.silverrescue.org) is teaming up with Red Rover (www.redrover.org) to hold an education/adoption day 10 am -3 pm this coming Saturday May 11 at Animal House in Nolensville. The My Dog Is Cool campaign is an effort to educate dog owners about the dangers of leaving a dog in a car during warm weather. The event is one of 30 taking place across the country during the month of May.

They can use a few volunteers to help up set up and tear down, to manage the dogs and cats and talk to the public about adoption and about keeping their dogs safe this summer. We will have a Pet Safety quiz, the opportunity to sign the "My Dog is Cool" pledge and door prizes. Volunteers can limit their commitment to 2 hour shifts starting at 9 when we will be setting up and ending at 4 when we should be finished packing up.

Anyone who give us a few hours can call 615-512-5851 to volunteer.

The more volunteers we can get the more impact we can have and the more adoptable animals we can bring to the event possibly to find their forever homes.
